Christmas Song 2

Dashing through the snow.
Gloves on, water soaking through.
Rushing through the snow.
I can jump from the porch farther than you
and belly flop chin first, flakes flashing.
Eyelashes frosty as hell
and a good hat on. I will put lights up.
Watch the sun go down.
An alignment of the planets in our system.
The third star on the right:
"you have reached your destination."
6 billion times over
one day.  To be lucky.  Wear a snow suit and
mind the rust.  I can nail a snow ball to the wall
from 30 yards out.
A scarf is also recommended,
but ya don't have to bring one if ya don't feel like it.
I may hum the Ode to Joy
when I dust your hip off
after tackling you,
don't mind me or the smoke coming off my tail.
Snow angels beside you.
Laughing all the way.  Snow flakes stilled
on my lashes
