I've been holding "conflagration"
in my back pocket
for a good time to use it
for more months than I can count.
I've been holding
for a while and we've been
staring at the curb
to see if a little bit of something
goes pill bug rolling...
....is that what they're called?
nothing does.
I would love to tell you
there is a problem with you
parking my car ten spaces down,
but you know I'm lazy.
Conflagration is,
however, a wonderful flower
that is so many leaves and
a lot of hurt for meaning, but
I've been holding
in my back pocket and it's
burning a hole like a lot of things
that are want to burn holes in jeans so
I'm letting it go
like a lot of things
that are want to burn holes in
back pockets.
